To do in Durbs!
More that I found...also in the January issue of Cosmo there is an article of 10 things to do in Durbies*
#1 Visit the 'Malva Market Pop-up" tucked away behind Spiga D'ora.
#2 Get a curry from House of Curries (HOC), eat macaroons from Macaroon cafe next door and next door to that visit the second hand book store, BookBase. Find these lush places on Florida road.
#3 Go to the Freedom Cafe in Greyville.
#4 Browse or buy at Durban designer's botique store: Terrence Bray's.
#5 Sit in the farmhouse setting and enjoy the atmosphere of the Sage Cafe & Restaurant in Balito.
#6 Hire a bicycle from the 'Skate Store' next to the skate park on the Durban beach front and cycle along the promenade from uShaka to Moses Mabida.
#7 Do some fine dinning at Cafe 1999.
#8 Take a rickshaw ride in one of the many that are found on the beach promenade.
#9 Pay tribute to the artists on the sand who make sand sculptures in order to be given tips and that is how they make a living.
#10 attend the joy rides on the beach front as well as the cable cars. They may be a little sketchy but they are also very cheap :P

Le Parfum
I found this in the Cosmopolitan magazine in the January issue and had to share it with you as Ellie Saab is my favourite perfume at the moment and it is really rad knowing the background behind it!

High Tea by the Sea
I attended an extraordinary High Tea at the exquisite Oyster Box in Umhlanga!
These photo's are mostly of the delicious food that was served!
We then proceeded swiftly upstairs to the bar which has a stunning view of the lighthouse and the Umhlanga beach!
Below is what I drank which was a Strawberry Italian Mojito. It was sooo Yummy!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEE-DEE :D

Dresses at Zara
On my hunting and gathering for the last little goodies for my dance , I happily walked past Zara, the new store that has just opened in Gateway.
This beautiful new store is where I got my lush afterparty dress from!
My Fairytale Evening!
MY MATRIC DANCE!
This has to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life! It was truly a fairytale evening! From getting ready after school, to the pre-drinks at my house which consisted of about 80 people and LOADS of camera's, to driving in the tuk-tuk (it was our entrance car), and then spending the evening with my entire grade and making very special memories!
Above is my hair and nails and below is my beautiful family!
Above is my partner, Brett and I.
Below are all the girls in my group. These lovely ladies all looked stunning!
This is the tuk-tuk that we made our entrance in!
Below is the table decorations which fitted together with the theme which was vintage, 1920's.
I would like to say a SUPER SPECIAL THANK YOU to my beautiful mommy who made my evening perfect and for all the preparation and planning that you did in order for the night to be unforgettable!
I am very lucky to have you and I am extremely spoilt!!

Mafia 18th!
Last night we celebrated Nicole and Matt's 18th Birthday. We had a big dinner at Nicsie's house and we all had to dress up like members from the mafia! It was flippin' fun!
This prezzie below is from Kirst to Nics which had various presents inside the box and each present had a letter spelling out N.I.C.O.L.E (that was the order for the gifts to be unwrapped). It is a very clever idea :)
This was one of the many things in the box and it is a canvas with melted crayons running down and a cardboard cutout in the corner.
