THE 27 AUGUST!

Today as I woke up I was bombarded with white balloons, candles, tea in bed and tons of hugs!

I had an incredibly magical day! It was unforgettable and I was waaaaay to spoilt! :)

I had afternoon tea with the family and opened my first legal drink which was definitely eventful as the cork went flying off, hit my finger and the champagne rushed out the bottle!

We then had dinner at the delicious resturaunt called La Storia which recently opened. It was amazing and the food was scrumptious!

My last illegal glass of wine!

There is nothing more refreshing than a glass of wine after a long day and I always share this special moment with my beautiful mommy!

Tonight is the last night that I shall be drinking my wine ... Illegally!

My last day of being illegal!

So I sit here on my last day of being 17 doing what I do best and that is trawling the Internet and staring at the beautiful talent that so many people are blessed with!

Life is very short, enjoy every single moment of it :D

In South Africa when you turn 18 you are able to get your car license, buy alcohol, vote and unfortunately you can start paying taxes. Definitely not excited about the latter!

Mommy's birthday weekend:)

Over the long weekend we took a little family trip down the coast to visit my God parents and very close family!

It was an amazing weekend sent next to the ocean filled with sunshine, giggles, playing pool and table tennis and of course having a South African braai.

On Saturday it was my beautiful mom's birthday!

The last sports day

Yesterday we had our last sports day and my house, Curie, named after Marie Curie, came third out of 8 houses which is pretty impressive.

I ran the 200m, 800m, 1500m and the class relay.

I would just like to say thank you Mbals for being a rad 3 legged race partner :D
