Barnyards and Hay bales

This last weekend I went to a friends farm which was extraordinarily beautiful! The sun was beating down yet the shade was crisp as we stood under the huge trees. It was really fun as we fished, other mates horse rode and there may have been a few alcoholic beverages involved  ;)

Just two events that are happening in the Autumn month of April.

Lunch excursion with mumzie!

Today I went to the Factory Cafe for the first time. Unfortunately they were only serving salad and I was starved so my mom and I had ice coffee there amd then we had lunch at the corner cafe. I had a biltong, avo, caramelised onion and feta pizza and my mom had fishcakes and salad. Both were super scrumptious!

The new addiction

My new favourite cupcake is the fantastic red velvet cupcake from Gloria Jeans. Its so darn yummy!

Cold days at College

Today was the forst really cold day to our Autumn (it was about 13 degrees) which called for copious amounts of tea and coffee! The picture below is of my trusty coffee mug which doesnt leak and has really pretty colours!

Colour Fest

The Colour festival has recently become very popular here in South Africa! Cape Town had their festival first and then Durbies had theirs. I attended the Durban colour fest which entaled a large amount of paint throwing!

Roma Revolving

On Thursday night I went to Roma Revolving for a delicious dinner overlooking the beautiful city of Durban. I had Veal Cappacio for starters and Matty had calamari which was cooked perfectly (not rubbery). For mains I had fish with lobster sauce and the male had wild rabbit for the first time. It was a really stunning evening!

Galavanting for a sweet 16!

Today I took my family friends,Curti and Courts as well as my brother out to Spiga D'ora and Wakaberry to celebrate Courts birthday!
